Places API Playground
The Mapbox Places API allows you to retrieve rich place details for any location identified by a Mapbox ID. Mapbox IDs are returned by other Mapbox Search APIs such as the Geocoding API and the Search Box API.
Use single search type to retrieve details for one place by its mapbox_id. Use batch search type to retrieve details for up to 100 places in a single POST request by providing one Mapbox ID per line.
The response includes rich metadata such as name, full_address, categories, opening_hours, phone, website, and geographic coordinates.
The Places API has 3 tiers of data: standard, plus and premium. This playground returns the premium results when used in it's default configuration. Add your token to see the response associated with your tier. All Mapbox customers default to the standard tier.
